Get started
Get your invite code, install Cloudroom, and run your first AI coding agent.
Get an invite code, create your account, and install Cloudroom. Then connect a coding agent and give it a task.
What you need
- A Mac or Linux computer.
- An invite code. Join the waitlist to get one, or ask a friend who uses Cloudroom.
- At least one coding agent you can sign in to: Claude Code, Codex, or Pi Agent.
- A subscription or API key for that agent's model provider. Cloudroom does not bill for model calls.
Get access
- Join the waitlist. We send invite codes in waves.
- Create your account with GitHub, Google, or email.
- Enter your 8-letter invite code. Each code works once.
- Download Cloudroom from your dashboard and move it to your Applications folder.
Run your first agent
- Open Cloudroom and click Log in. Confirm your account in the browser.
- Add a project: pick a folder on your Mac, usually a Git repository.
- Start a new thread. Pick a harness, a model, and Local or Cloud.
- If the harness is not connected yet, click Connect and sign in with your own account.
- Type your task and send it. Follow the agent's replies and tool calls live.

Pick Cloud when the work should keep going after you close your laptop. Read Cloud threads to learn how sandboxes, branches, and sleep work.
Use the CLI
The app ships with the room-cli command-line tool. Agents running in Cloudroom get it automatically, so they can manage threads too.
room-cli status --json
room-cli thread tell THREAD_ID "Also add tests for this"
